I have a small plot of land that i could use to put a couple, maybe 3 #sheep. I have no experience at all with this animal so i am looking for any information I can find regarding it. The land just sits there uncultivated growing thickets and I have to constantly cut thwm of or pay someone to clear the land. I figure that with the sheep at least i will have some meat produced by myself. Was rhinking about the suffolk breed as I hear they are wasy to handle.

Get rams or whethers from someone close to your location. Breed isn't terribly important during your learning phase IMO. Raise them to desired weight and harvest them. If you like it, do it again, maybe experimenting with a different breed or a mix of breeds.
Buy from a clean respectful looking flock. Preferably out on grass since that's going to be your approach. If sheep are heavy on grain and you put them on grass they might actually lose weight for a few months while their gut microorganisms adjust--possibly never adjusting well.
Cheap animals are rarely ever worth the price.
There is a suffolk breeder near me, so i will go check it out. I am sure they won't be cheap. There are a lot of others breeders aroind these parts, but not even their flock is trustworthy... That was the type of knowledge I was looking for: first hand experience. Thabk you very much! Followed.
