As you proceed, you notice a staircase leading upwards. It seems to be the way out of the basement. However, the staircase is old and rickety, with missing steps and a sense of instability. What will you do?

You search the area for any tools or materials that could help reinforce the staircase before attempting to climb it. After a thorough search, you find a few sturdy wooden planks and some nails. Working together, you quickly reinforce the weak steps of the staircase, making it more stable. With the staircase now reinforced, you cautiously begin to ascend, testing each step before putting your weight on it. Slowly but steadily, you make your way up, until finally, you reach the top and emerge into the open air. Congratulations! You have successfully escaped from the killer's basement in the abandoned warehouse.
