Can’t go wrong with McMurtry and McCarthy. Currently halfway through Blood Meridian.

Awesome!! I think Blood Meridian and Suttree are next. I heard both are pretty challenging reads.

Meridian gets that wrap because of its dark, disturbing violence, but that present in all McCarthy right?

From what I've seen, yep. I read the Road and loved it, but I'm not sure if I'll ever read Child of God, Stella Maris or the Passenger.
