'you can say blockchain, or whatever and as long as you arent making an impact, nobody cares. But once you start making an impact...

Whan .05 of the population exist the financial system through a crypto currency, nobody pays attention. But when 5% of the population exits, suddenly your monetary policy doesnt work anymore. And when 10% exit, you are heading for a revolution. At that point, it doesnt matter what you call it. Because they will certainly call it terrorism.' --aantonop

Another dilemma is whether it is better for crypto to get popular fast before they can rally a counter and possibly force them to flip an internet kill-switch. Or is it better for it to gain popularity slowly and quietly until it's suddenly so ubiquitous they wouldn't dare to kill-switch?
