I feel like we're kinda just hamstrung until Bitcoin does it's NGU thing some more.
I believe the will is there, we're just lacking the means to execute, at least in my neck of the woods.
At the moment Nostr is just a place to chill while we wait.

I'm constantly being reminded how critical it is right now to have patience.
These things will play out in their own time.
I feel that while simultaneously having a sense that it's time to build. Slow and small solutions is what I come back to.
Yeah - my projects are all small scale & low cost that contribute to my resiliency goals but also won't have a huge & dramatic affect.
In some ways it's a bit frustrating but in others it's very grounding. It feels a bit like a grind but I'm also consistently improving my skills & acquiring knowledge & perspective.
Hopefully much will transfer when I'm ready to pull the trigger.
