@Eimi_LTY @DrJessTaylor but you reminded me of my friend Lisa who went to Catholic school in the 1980s. They really had to wear those classic uniforms with the plaid skirts and the white shirt, etc. She showed me pictures. After puberty at 14 or 15 they started to be interested in boys...

@Eimi_LTY @DrJessTaylor ...and since they couldn't choose their own clothes they actually learned to sew so that they could hem their skirts and show more leg and get more attention from boys. Over the course of the school year the skirts continually got shorter until school admin had to step in.

@Eimi_LTY @DrJessTaylor Real young women, in real life, were not denied the right to be unsexualized or desexualized, nature made them want to flirt with the boys, and society in the form of the church, the school, the parents, tried really hard to forbid them from expressing sexuality.
