it doesn't seem like you're following/followed by many people, which may be why the experience feels lackluster. I used free relays exclusively for around a month and then dove into a few paid relays. they made the global chat usable to find people I don't follow to maybe connect with. some people use # to connect. (#coffeechain for example).

and if you just don't like or enjoy nostr, that's fine too. it probably isn't ready for the masses yet yaknow. cheers friend 🤙
