I’m banding on 11-52 fertilizer on alfalfa of all things. I think it’s one of the easiest ways to get alfalfa going in the spring. The disc openers are very low disturbance and the slots can’t even be seen in just a few days. This will be year 4 of alfalfa on this circle. I’m hoping that after another 4 or more years the pigweed seed bank will be destroyed. That’s another option to fight weeds in ag. #farming #grownostr
