Regarding internet shutdown: Wouldn't it make sense to make APKs very easy to share P2P? I guess that's a nostr:nprofile1qqs83nn04fezvsu89p8xg7axjwye2u67errat3dx2um725fs7qnrqlgppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0h3gy93 feature request, but what would obviously be beneficial is that those who have bitchat etc on their device already could easily share it with others (without internet). If you grab an app via F-Droid, you can then share it wirelessly with another. Not sure if it requires WiFi or not. Most apps on Android require WiFi for that to function,.
That said, the new Pixel 10 comes with airdrop feature, and they are bringing it to Pixel 9 updates.
Then again, Google Pixels have now closed source much of the code, so who knows if that feature will come to DeGoogled phones.
