Exactly. Which is why it is terrible.

Worse thing is, few people are aware. They may also think they are bulletproof on Nostr - which they are not

Nostr is arguably worse in certain scenarios, since instead of a centralized entity (Telegram Corp) having all your metadata, you are now blasting it out to the entire world.
