Looks bitcoiny.

Better check those text messages. You have 235 people waiting for answer.

so I just went and manually extra deleted all the unread messages, but I guess iCloud knows they over on my laptop too so it’s just gonna forever be this way

Oof I hope that does not fuck with your ocd. At least your tried haha

I’m ok with it, but I do wish the dock apps could travel with the focus… but maybe it’s not a dock then?

Hmm yeah not sure. I don’t think it’s a dock issue. Cause my stuff syncs fairly well with my Mac and iPhone.

I just mean the 4 apps at the bottom… the issue with syncing is cause I’m stuck at Catalina on my laptop, and maybe jumping back and forth from mojave to open core montery on my desktop not helping either

No Footstr though?

👀

Great feature, syncs on MacOS too

I been really trying to put off arm mac, but I need to upgrade… I’m milking a 5.1 Mac Pro (some what needed for music software compatibility) and and holding tight to my 11 inch MacBook so sync is all broken. I was learning some dev stuff with Mac in cloud, been doing some rust basics in the meantime. I get so mad at the magnificence shopping ladder they built that I’ve successfully backed out, but it’s time to bite the bullet.

If they offer a student discount over the summer, go for it. Got an M1 for $800 with a $100 gift card and no verification. Can even buy it with #Bitcoin through bitrefill.

it's a beauty of a screen

This scares me a little as it's the same as having a ton of Bitcoin single sig hot wallets all loaded up with your seed/private keys on your mobile device.

Most people would be fine, but it's the ones that have jailbroken devices or are using non-standard app stores and installs that scares me. New clients and code can be buggy too.

Having said that, which one(s) is your favorite client so far?

Thank you for your concern, damus is 1 app the rest are nip 07 web apps that I use the nostore safari extension to login… the later half of these are throw away test accounts.

Now welcome to my ted talk…

Damus is daily driver… snort on desktop, but sometimes want to compare something between the two.

what I would call the “new” Coracle is pretty great, I love ‘as seen on’.

I like the design of astral, feels like a web app not a site, but it don’t run well.

From there on is test accounts.

NOS is pretty neat, it’s basically the ssb client planetary but nostr. Has the ssb algo for global, and has the tooling to choose which relay you can post it… pretty robust because it’s a twist on an existing app. They have a phone number login / nip 05 package I haven’t tried… I think the ssb crowd and anyone who doesn’t want to see bitcoin all day is gonna love this client.

I can’t wait for arc to be robust, it’s a channels focused client, just not at the point in development where you can even name the channel you create.

Daisy has seem to be on hiatus or slow roll, but an alternative to damus, competition is good.

I actually don’t really use the wrapped version of iris, the notifications are good on desktop… I guess it’s good that they will have App Store coverage.

Nostrum is a NIP-46 remote signer that I haven’t found a practice use for.

Sendster is a clipboard that uses throw away keys, but imo a really nice demo of relays, websockets, and other stuff

planetary, manyverse, mastadon is research into other protocols

I don’t have much coin here, procure coin from cash app to zap out directly from…

Currently using lighting tip bot for zaps, and I love it, wish nostr has a way to have bots like this in the DM’s like telegram, but we need better DM’s for this.

I love the write up and thank you for your feedback. I'm glad to see you're using NIP-07 and test keys for some of them.I always defer to a viewpoint of security and education, but if that's too much in my approach I do want people to let me know. Test on!

Definitely should keep looking out for that… I’m not sure if it’s nip 07, 46, or something else, but basically a way to log into native apps through Nostore so I know who to blame 😏
