I appreciate you could probably have used this to wipe the Windows install while installing Linux, but I always did my installs from boot-up media

Happened sometimes accidentally 🙃. This is how I heard and learned about Linux that it even exists. Unfortunately I don't remember with which Ubuntu version I started to use Linux only on a PC. The other day I found a CD-Rom with Ubuntu 16.04 but I don't have a drive anymore so I couldn't boot it up.
