If you are using BTCpay, it doesn't send any notification somehow whenever you receive payments, and checking manually is silly, so what I do is using Zapier to notify me on Slack 👀 and there are many automatic fun you can do with Zapier too.
I'm actually a bit surprised that not many automation tools are being built on top of Bitcoin atm, or maybe I didn't look hard enough.
