Get a 2nd wallet from a different manufacturer as a backup. Seedsigner is great for that.

When the ledger nonsense happened, I was so glad I had a backup to immediately start moving my stack to a new seed. Other people had to wait weeks for their wallet to ship, and some are still waiting.
