Someone sent me freeze dried sourdough. Dident even know this was a thing. It's fucking brilliant though because you can mail sour dough without having to worry about it dying.

it's a yeast so it sporulates

i'm not sure it's a complete culture, i thought sourdough needed to have Lactobacillus as well?

Lactobacillus is basically in the air around us as humans, lives on our skin and women have a lot of it down there

I gave up on sourdough because of the time sink of feeding the culture, this could be a game changer!

I don't know, I have yet to rehydrate it, but according to the internet it seems like it's definitely doable.
