🚨United Kingdom 🇬🇧: The WHO would have the power to impose a “lockdown”, health passport and border closures in the United Kingdom, (According to a treaty that is under discussion proposed by the WHO) in a possible new pandemic, that’s what members of the Conservative party warned the foreign minister, urging him to "block powers that appear to materially intrude on the UK's ability to make its own rules and control its own budgets".

The Minister has already replied that “We are sure that we would never agree to anything that crossed our principles of sovereignty or prevented the UK from taking decisive action against future pandemics.” indicating that it will not sign the treaty.

The treaty would require member countries to “recognize WHO as the guiding and coordinating authority for the international public health response and commit to follow WHO recommendations in their international public health response.”
