Great art also tends to point towards a greater Truth. We can feel it within us even if we can't articulate what that Truth is.

Personally, I find the truth through beauty in art only a small part of the conversation. Art has always been the main way that I both personally and publicly question, challenge and make sense of the complexities around me. Sometimes that comes out as something beautiful (although I think I’ve always found ‘beautiful’ a little too easy to create), but sometimes it’s empoweringly awkward and difficult… like an intense and profound lump of revealed life…and that’s when I’m most interested

I agree with that in the sense that, what is “beautiful” is a destination that people get attached to, whereas “beauty” is an eternal journey
