I like data so from time to time I look through the stats.nostr.band site and try to make sense of what I'm seeing for #Nostr usage

Weekly Active Users have been mostly flat around 20k-22k since the summer. There was a spike then due to some Elon shenanigans on X.

In some good news, retention of users from recent months seems to be trending higher than older months

New user counts seem slightly elevated over the last couple weeks

Zapped events and zaps in general are trending down

Will be interesting to follow this over the next bull/bear cycle for #Bitcoin
