Obviously he made a mistake by following your advice without understanding it well but since it goes down it makes you the bad guy for giving a good advice with good intentions 😔. The whole situation sucks.

So far I have not been able to explain bitcoin to my friends in a way that would stick so I know what doesn't work instead of what is a good approach here 😅🤦‍♂️.
