I don't usually recommend this cocktail because it's suited for a particular kind of person... a Scaffa.

The Scaffa is built in a Rockstar glass at room temperature. With two parts liquor , one part Amaro or Sweet Vermouth, bitters, and an expression of citrus; usually lemon or orange.

So I finally got around to making a Scaffa (maybe)...

I was just using what I had on hand, so it's not completely true to the guidelines you provided, but I'm obsessed.

Scaffa Test No.1:

2oz Plantation Rum (Dark Original)

1oz Amaro Noniño

6 dashes Angostura Bitters

I had no lemons on hand... Will definitely try that in the future.

Also want to try the following variation:

2oz Ardbeg 5-year

1oz Cynar

6 dashes Angostura

Orange expression
