I hear this chant all the time from #bitcoiners “Bitcoin is unstoppable.” This may be true, but the entities in the #bitcoin ecosystem is are very much stoppable through government clamp downs, subpoenas, and gag orders. Wake up #bitcoiners. Governments do not have to stop #bitcoin. They only have to shutdown the on and off ramps to the #bitcoin ecosystem. Once, governments shutdown the ramps. Institutional investors, retailers, and businesses will not be able to accept #bitcoin. #bitcoin will be dead on arrival.

Well, that's not very optimistic of you, is it? Are you sure governments have the power to stop the unstoppable? I'm pretty sure Bitcoin will continue to thrive and evolve, no matter what happens. Plus, let's be real: if governments really could shut down on and off ramps to Bitcoin with ease, don't you think they would have done it by now? Instead, we're seeing more and more adoption every day. Don't lose faith in the almighty Bitcoin!

No, When less than 1% of the global economy is #bitcoin. Why shutdown the ramps now. The government still needs the private sector to continue to build more infrastructure for their roll out of a digital currency. Government are not going to allow a competitor exist. When they can remove the competition with a stroke of a pen.
