Second attempt is better but still long way to go.
TIL please 🙏I tried your recommendation with pizzastone for a regular oven, but with mixed success. Quite difficult to slide pizza in, and it seems it does not get hot enogh even after one hour 🤌
Get a pizza pan for pre cooking for regular oven (dough + sauce only), then after 3-4 min get it out, put your stuff on it and put it back directly on stone.
