According to Christian religions, as mentioned in the book of Revelations, Jesus is supposed to return for a thousand years aka the Millennial Reign, during this time Satan will be ‘bound’ for a thousand years, and people will live in peace and there will be no sickness or death and everything will be glorious. After the thousand years Satan will be let out for a ‘short season’ to deceive mankind one last time- and he and his dominions will have total rule over the earth.
