Self-custody is limited only by the bitcoin/lightning protocols. Any other solutions will have limits depending on the choices of those providing them. For a tip wallet, this is probably a sufficient amount for most people and Lightning lets you move it to self custody with little friction.

I’d prefer to sweep custodial sats to my self custody lightning node anyway. But getting people unfamiliar with self custody set up on Nostr is easier with a wallet setup like this.
As long as people can swap in their own self custodial wallet to replace the Primal one I think this is an unmitigated win. I hope that feature is out or coming soon!
