#BostonGlobe agreed to pay $4M to settle an online-privacy lawsuit. A CA man who said he had a digital subscription sued the Globe for $5M alleging BG was sending his personal info to #Facebook whenever he watched videos on BG's site.

#BostonGlobe's proposed settlement also incl creation of a fund 2 pay visitors to the website while it was using "#Facebook tracking pixels" & BG "will stop using the tracking pixel on pages that play video in such a way that they could possibly be used to identify visitors"
