Logged into my [old] #twitter and #LinkedIn accounts to level set what is being delivered here on #nostr ..

1. The pace of dev on #nostr is super amazing .. X has improved a little bit , LinkedIn is same old interface .. almost unusable.

2. The KYC has taken over - you can't do much without being a verified on X and a premium on LinkedIn.. the "MUCH" is pretty negligible..

3. Grok integration is open to non verfied .. and the AI looks pretty impressive ..

4. You cant download any content , particularly vids ! .. don't know if its an improvement or going backwards !

5. Cross posing is painful ..

6. No in eternal developer ever posts on their own platforms .. you will NEVER know a single dev building X or LinkedIn

7 . Feed is nothing but advertisement.. an extreme perversion of platforms .. and Elon's post :-)

So people still use these platforms or the numbers just made up ?

I would say it’s a bit of both. If you’re still on twitter, you can’t be all that bright to begin with. 😝

Good point .. if I say I quit twitter as soon as I found about #nostr .. quit Facebook in and Linked in 2020... Reddit in 2021 ..

Yes I just looked into X on friday, since I was talking with friends about Nostr and Twitter and politics.

And one has to say, that anyone should be filled with shame that beleaved Elon Musk at any point, that he wanted X to be a platform of free speech.

Every user follows Musk by default and can not shut it off. Trumps posts are boosted too. And everyone can imagine the climate that is over there.

I can not imagine why a person that is not a MAGA trumpist already, should create a new X-Account and stay.
