Unpopular opinion: Blue check mark is similar to how we'll start paying relays to store our notes/media.
Its just that Twitter's storage is extremely expensive.
Blue check requires you to show government id and a phone number. Nostr will never have this
Yes. I'm against it for that one stupid reason. If they start accepting BTC for Twitter Blue(Or Orange?), I'd be more than happy to pay.
Especially because of the constraints that Nostr users can't interact with tweets directly(like how users from one relay can interact with notes on another relay)
Pay for use platform is dumb. Rewarding creators and reducing censorship is excellent. Catch 22.
