Agree, but moving to the EU?
The best strategy for digital asset and software providers is to stay nimble, refuse to negotiate and engage as little as possible with individual jurisdictions. You have to play the jurisdictional arbitrage game and be willing to follow through. It could be an interim step needed due to infrastructure configs although I doubt that. They might hold the view that there are signs the EU is going to roll over on some of this stuff. We are yet to see if they fold cards to the US who is pushing hard on the EU around treatment of its tech companies. And you have Hungary and Italy very much not aligned with Brussels. Having said all that it's a head scratcher to be sure.
