Same, the posts I’ve seen appear pleasant/helpful. It’s just disappoint to see people get wrapped up in the need to game an algorithm for attention. People can do what they want, and if that’s what he wants then it’s his prerogative. But for me it negates any value that his posts or the trending section on nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg offers if I see that someone can so easily manipulate it.

What exactly are "trending" posts anyway? How do you define trending? Likes per second for the last 24 hours? That plus maybe sats zapped/day?

It may well be he is doing the work to get people to put him in that position. Your irritation may actually be caused by the stupidity of people or the fact that you don't get that amount of value from it. The photo is nice though.

There's no second guessing what the market says. I'd say only if the definition of trending was unfair there is a problem. Is the source code of the site available to read?
