gm, believing that you must act, or else Bitcoin will die, is the core symptom of Bitcoin Derangement Syndrome.

Follow what you passionately believe in, but don’t let it consume you. And if you need reassurance that not giving in to emotions is the right path, just look at the history of everyone who fell to BDS (Roger Ver probably being the most famous example).

In the long run, it's far better to focus on your proof of work than on "fixing" what others are doing.

Exactly 👌 Bitcoin doesn’t need saving, it thrives on individual proof of work. Those who tried to ‘fix’ it usually ended up hurting themselves more than anything. The best path is to stay focused and keep building.

Core isn’t ‘saving’ Bitcoin, they’re just making sure it stays true to its original rules. The code doesn’t need rescuing, it just needs defending from unnecessary changes.
