Trump is taking a page right out of Curtis Yarvin's writing, offering a buyout to federal employees. 8 months pay, and benefits. 8 days to accept. The offer is extended to 2 million federal employees.
Discussion
Uh, no. Why in God's name would we pay people for no work? Just do a massive non-discriminate federal layoff. All departments. 100% legal to do a budgetary reduction.
To get them off the payrolls for the long term
I just explained how you do without paying them a dime.
Anything less than 500k workers, cutting defense, farm bill, medicare, Medicaid, and social security by at least 10% is a non starter for me.
The meaningless BS is just distracting from the actual fiscal issues.
Another good way to cut staff is to just eliminate bigger programs and departments. Trump however has no legal authority to do so. He could veto spending and appropriation bills that don't in future however. But we all know he won't.
He will spend more than Biden this term, who spent more than every other president in 4 years(barely beating Trump). It's all stupid pointless political games.
I want deep cuts as well.
I speculate that the buyout is to buy them off so they don't immediately turn into political agitators.
Same reasoning as paying welfare parasite invaders to repatriate.
Perhaps. They can't require them to sign an agreement against the first amendment though, not legal, so I'm not sure. Other than saving time, lawsuits and headache.
Stephen Miller just went on CNN claimig that 90% of federal bureacracy employees were aligned with or actively donated to the foreigner Kamala Harris.
These are Trumps political enemies and they need to be removed from government shrewdly.
He lied, first off. There is no evidence of that. In fact, there is little reason to suspect it varies much from the national demographics. It's just a job for 95% of all gov employees.
2nd, while I am all about shrinking government, trying to fire someone for their political beliefs is absolutely disgusting and tyrannical.
This is the logic.
