Toss a few peanuts to the local squirrels, they eat some, bury the rest, and lo and behold I’ve got a couple peanut plants growing!

They’re sort of like the folks that go to 7-11s and buy 10 lottery tickets along with their coffee, then lose half the tickets in the seat cushions of their vehicles. The peanut plants sprouting in the yard are like the winning tickets that they forgot about.
