The goal is to make #nostr big, strong and decentralised enough before the states and governments notice it and try to kill it.

Regulators don’t like freedom of speech. Goverments are afraid of freedom of speech. They like to have control. Hence, there will be an attack on #nostr if it becomes successful and widely used - this is for sure.
