Honestly, if Coinbase is the big baddie as many want to claim, having other custodian options is beneficial and lowers single point of failure in that regard.

Let Celsius network, blockfi and a lot other platforms be a lesson to not trust banks/exchanges lend out your funds! Be your own bank, hold your own keys.
