If you ever get to know people from Romania that lived during the horrible Tsaushesku 'socialist' regime, you will find out that they blame everything bad as socialistic, communistic etc. Partly it is understandable. After Tsaushesku you have an excuse to do that.

What is the excuse to blame socialism and communism for the wildfires in USA in early 2025? 😵‍💫

Maybe because of we use different labels to the same concept, as i said previously. Or maybe because everyone has very different as how the world should work.

I strongly think that oligarchic technofascist empire is the best theoretical definition for todays US.

Yeah ok. But claiming that USA is under socialist or communist rule is too far off. Too far.

Agree. Clearly they never risked a Bolshevik uprising in their whole history 😂

Anyway about the specific matter i'm no expert in California wildfires. My modest impression is that it's the consequence of many different causes: bad forest management,

insufficient resources for the local fire departments, physics (wood sometime burns), unreasonable green ideologies, political inefficiencies and corruption, etc...

Me thinks: there is no one single villain.

Too often we tend to reduce bad events to a single cause, because it's simple and reassuring, but reality is way more complex.

When I find US Americans sprinkling the words 'commie' & 'communist' into their commentary that's usually a prompt for me to mute. And no, it's not because of my political allegiances or leanings; I'm generally very happy to listen to voices from 'the right'.

I always have the feeling that the person who say it, is high on drugs or too drunk.
