coldcard has proprietary software and proprietary hardware. it is a fact.
seedsigner is 100% opensource and all components are standard components

try amazon and aliexpress. buy the pi zero with the pre soldered headers:

once you have the pre soldered headers it is easy to assemble. do not try to get the one without the headers unless you know how to solder microelectronics.

the waveshare display is also available from all mentioned suppliers. aliexpress is reliable. they deliver to the uk. you can even pay with paypal and you are protected in case it gets lost or if it is defective. your card adds another layer of protection.
last but not least you need the camera. it is cheap. i got it from aliexpress for 8 bucks.

as far as i know there are many dealers in the uk for those parts. prices vary. compare. you need to put more efforts into it but it is cheaper than anything else and you get standard components without the need to trust anyone.

i would do that if you do not want to buy everything seperately. you can disassemble it and check all components
they don't actually have it now, but i will go with building it myself :)

Do you use it?
yes sure. you can use it on sparrow, specter or bluewallet. you can use one screw from the display and screw the camera on the back side of the seedsigner. i also use it without enclosure. excellent device.
Do you print the code cards yourself? Laminate?
you should use metal ones with many backups in case of a fire and on the signer use an additional password. you could also use offline digital ones but you need to understand exactly what you are doing. safer for most people are metal plates. you could make a backup with washers which you stamp with four letters each and put together with a screw.
Are there any guides?
amazon has such plates. does not cost much. some come with a stamp tool and a guide. you can use paper first and draw it by hand, it will work too. there are many videos on youtube. or you can print it if you have a printer
here is a guide how to back it up on metal:
the qr on paper you can do it with a marker. there is no need to laminate because you have the backup and you can make a new one any time.
put the backup on metal plates like the one i sent. make 2 or 3 backups in case anything gets lost.
