The Bill Maher clip discussing mining where he says he’s “mad at the younger generation for embracing this” is infuriating. People shouldn’t talk on subjects they know nothing about.

The ironical part is the guy he’s interviewing mentions that there’s more energy used for mining than Argentina uses. It’s a shame he doesn’t know that bitcoin is saving Argentinians from their inflation spiral.
Oh and also a GLOBAL computing network using more energy than ONE country shouldn’t be a shock to anyone.

Bill Maher’s whole show is based on talking about things he doesn’t know about.
After he says he’s angry about it he literally says “I don’t understand this part that you have to mine bitcoins”. He literally admits to not knowing what he’s talking about. It’s pathetic.
He’s paid to hate on things he hasn’t studied.
