I’ve spent the day talking to my Trump supporting in-laws about Bitcoin, nostr, freedom of speech and getting money out of politics and getting past our broken, 2 party system and how Trump won’t make any of this better either.

We used to fight ALL the time, especially around 2016/2017 when my now wife and I first started dating.
But since they got to know me over the years and I’ve talked to them about bitcoin it’s been going better.

Yeah if we can ban corporate political funding, implement rank choice voting, and maintain free speech with decentralized platforms like nostr we will be able to have true democracy
