We could support encrypted DMs by decrypting them through the bridge... 🤔 Seems a little wrong but I'm thinking about it.

Yeah it would, but everything isn’t encrypted on activitypub anyways right? Isn’t that the default behaviour on your side?
It is. Instance admins can (and do) read DMs of their users. So for the fedi side it may not be so odd, but for Nostr people expecting E2E encryption, Mostr would get a bad reputation pretty quickly.
