I want it to only connect to my local machines, via my network, but not by going through the internet to get there. Nostr maybe?
I had an Oura ring for a while, stopped using it a while back. I use a Garmin watch for running, but nothing else.

My imaginary ring will only Bluetooth send data to your phone and the App can be configured to send data to my official server or other servers or never.
I will also expose API for users to hack the ring.
Each ring will have pubkey and your data is encrypted. Only the right user can decrypt it.
Why abandon Oura?
