although, in the days when i lived and worked at a ski resort, there was a traveling snowboarder who paid his way hand making these pullovers that had one layer of 1mm neoprene sandwiched between thin high density wool. the outer arms from above the elbow to the wrist had an outer layer of kevlar, and it had a hood and thumb loops. i paid $50 cash for one. best, warmest active wear ive ever owned.

his business model was, he and his girlfriend would make a bunch of them, then they would set up a popup shop in the parking lot wherever they were snowboarding and hanging out. then theyd do it again, and go to another resort. they sold out wherever they went.
