Yes. And I agree with you and I thought of that. I actually said to the plant, "I know your feeder roots would love this," but I didnt have enough water, nor manure so I performed a concentrated hit, hoping that it would reach where it needs to go.

At this stage, it was better than nothing at all. I did the same thing for a few smaller trees, I will share before ( well nearly before) and after pics.

I appreciate your advice. I live in the Caribbean, we are in the middle of June and the soil is parched.
