Great discussion.💜 Kennedy addressed the gun issue that was a sticking point for many.

He has no plans to “repeal the 2nd amendment” nor does he intend to obstruct anyone’s right to bear arms.

Kennedy also spoke on the school shootings that plague this country and has mentioned securing schools like airports. OMG. I absolutely agree with this so much. This needs to be funded and executed across the board at the federal level.

He has thought of everything.

What I found to be most remarkable about today’s discussion is everything Kennedy spoke on is actually doable and within reach - all of his plans and solutions are practical and can be easily executed. It’s not some wild pipe dream. 💜

Nec puero gladio!

We shouldn’t have to secure schools like airports. That doesn’t solve the issue. Sending kids to essentially a prison every day isn’t ideal.

Hi #[3] And I shouldn’t have to lock my door or deal with TSA just to fly etc. It is just the way of the world now.😬🌎

And it won’t be like a prison. It will be more like a posh gated community or luxury apartment complex. Or even a trip to Disney World. Disney requires fingerprint scans and bag checks to gain entry into their parks. Disney World doesn’t feel like prison.🎡🎢🎟️💜

It isn’t the way of the world though. Just the way of the United States.

Please pray for me Reverend Jameson.💜

Thank you for your nice response. I’ll come back to respond to this later.💜

Yes. This is so true. Kennedy brought up this very point during his recent Twitter spaces discussion.

I can’t quote him verbatim but he alluded to how the United States will never be like the UK or places like Japan in regards to guns.💜

Mass school shootings are not ideal either. It little inconvenience is worth it to protect lives especially children.💜

They deserve to be protected, no one will disagree with that. But just beefing up security doesn’t actually eliminate the issues…it just slows them down. We have to do more to actually eliminate/fix the problem.

Since we can’t prevent gun ownership I believe the most practical approach is to take a proactive stance and adopt preventative measures in order to keep children safe at school.

The most viable option is to implement digital surveillance and standard safeguards like metal detectors and onsite police. They are mostly deterrents and while not 100% foolproof (nothing is) these strategies are proven to be quite effective.

We just can’t keep allowing any random person to waltz inside their school of choice and start shooting.

What else could we do at this point?💜
