There is great societal and political risk in trying to outlaw things otherwise peacefully owned by law abiding citizens. It creates a damaging chasm between citizenry and government. I fear our political class has forgotten this historical truth.

Every pothead has known about the theatre vs enforcement for years.

Media keeps distorting the story for it's sponsors tho.

Voluntary stuff for law makers

"But that shit don't work, I just laugh

Because it gives them a hint not to step in my path

For police, I'm saying, "Fuck you, punk!"

Reading my rights and shit, it's all junk

Pulling out a silly club, so you stand

With a fake-ass badge and a gun in your hand" NWA

It’s no coincidence that this punitive legislation is proposed just as the ETFs are about to be approved.

The govt wants to push you into paper bitcoin products within the regulated financial system where it can surveilled and seized.

They want to lock you into their failing system.

I own bitcoin, don't own anything that government is able to confiscate, I am armed, length of life has little value for me. Is this what they call sovereign?

If you use bitcoin correctly, no law is really enforceable on you. So laws are for those who choose to have them.

“…deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”

If thoughts and speech is illegal there is something wrong.

Die Gedanken sind frei,

wer kann sie erraten,

sie fliehen vorbei,

wie nächtliche Schatten.

Kein Mensch kann sie wissen,

kein Jäger erschießen.

Es bleibet dabei:

Die Gedanken sind frei.
