Psalm 34:16-22 says, "But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth". To be fair, it is a more complicated issue. Sometimes he does it as a disciplinary measure in order to teach a lesson. But to think that God does not judge evil is to not understand God.

"Those who do evil" they already turned away from God. There is probably a misunderstanding between what we're both mutually trying to communicate.

Appreciate the nuance, I'm still in the beginning process of learning Christian Theology

Yeah man, Christian theology is no joke. I hold degrees in both Biblical and Theological studies, but if you’re looking for something to really dig into, I could recommend dozens of names, one great book is called, “Knowing God” by JI Packer. It’s as good a place to start as any
