Why is it impossible to find a non pressure treated 4x4x8 around here. 2 local building supply companies and Lowes don't carry them. I am going to check sawmills next.

The only non pressure treated I have found so far are cedar and they run $50/ea. I just need normal pine, I don't want pressure treated for inside the house.

Plan B will be making my own out of 2x4s since I was going to join the 4x4s with a half lap joint and can achieve the same look and since they will be table legs they should be plenty strong.
