I can only speak from my own personal experience. Over ten years ago I had a female coworker who was a very talented and a genuinely decent person. I had written her a glowing recommendation on LinkedIn. We both moved on to other jobs and one day I got a message from the same person with a different name and profile photo. He asked me if I would edit the recommendation to reflect his new name and pronouns. I didn’t hesitate to do so. And I invited him to meet me for lunch soon after. A guy walked into the restaurant who appeared to me to be a perfectly ordinary and happy person. He was engaged to be married and had a great new job. You would never have known this man had been born female. We had a great conversation and the subject of being trans never came up.

That sounds great, and I have nothing but respect for that person. People like that don’t strike me as the kind of people who put up “god loves trans kids” signs though, or honestly even benefit from it.
