The overwhelming support of others in my time here only continues to grow. These satoshis. Endlessly rolling in no matter how seemingly small and unproductive my contributions. I feel as if I am being funded to fund others. A cycle of giving, receiving.
Still having much to learn about all aspects of this, Nostr. Advancements in my understandings of the intricacies of the Bitcoin protocol come slowly, only impeded by additional avenues to explore more fully before continuing.
Adding an entire social layer to this research, is yet another distraction from my limited time. This is not to say it is an unworthy pursuit. Being able to interact with others, in such manners I have never been privy to, and to finally use this technology I've been so enamored by for such a duration... is difficult to convey in words.
It takes time to process these things. The zaps I am receiving I am in turn trying to zap back to the givers and others. I cannot possibly thank all of them individually. My only salvation may be to continue this circulation of positivity and satoshis.
Curating the sentiments we would like to affect on others.
My output of zaps vary wildly as I attempt to find the appropriate rhythm. At last though, a way to distribute this valuable scarce unit around without the needs for exchanges and third parties. Direct peer to peer value.
The sense that if you give everyone a little, but a innumerable amount more give to you. Somehow you still are ahead.
Its easy to become jaded in this onslaught of problems we face personally, and on the exterior. That stress and negativity, breeds complacency and contempt. And therein a perceived devaluation of the importance of interpersonal interactions.
Too busy to care outside immediacy, in the face of such monstrosity you alone cannot possibly alter. Yet very much aware.
Humans. Being the outlandish creatures we are. Will abstract ideas away. Value will be one of these.
Changing the way we interact online is of the utmost importance if we are to restore a sense of connection to our fellow "man" in this digital age. We have yet to maintain a firm grasp upon the rapid advancement.
Our limited capabilities for understanding the consequences of such innovations cannot possibly be ascertained within the confines of natural evolution. I fear our abilities to create often outpace our comprehension.
Thinking back to the blocksize debates, it's a shame patience wasn't more valued. Certainly in dire circumstances such things may have possibility to be implemented. We already know the dangers of unforseen consequences.
Changing the way society not only transacts, but socially collaborates... communicates... takes time. There is an entire movement behind this, building, outstretched in all directions with different beliefs and convictions. Yet all can look back to a global consensus and utilize it.
You all have been a delight to play around with during my time here. No matter our different opinions and lifestyles we may have. We can all utilize these blossoming new technologies. To promote embracing that which makes us all the things we are at present. While we grow, learn, assist and persist.
How long I can keep this up avoiding repetition? Will prove a challenge. Accepted fellow frens.
