I lived on O’ahu for like 15yrs. I still have family there. I know how hard things are on a day to day basis & once folks desperate to improve their lives quickly hear #Crypto this, that or the third…fuuuuuuhhhhhhgggg it’s gonna suck.
I tried explaining #BTC , sound money practices, the basics of why #Bitcoin works mo better than any #CraptoCoin but, I get bushed aside when they see “lambos” & promises of fast #Fiat.
I pray things work out for the best though.
Not that different than anywhere else honestly. Pareto principal seems right again.
I feel like HI is down bad on this particular point. Like when I was there, I felt a certain pride taken in technological stoicism / spartan - “it’s been decided, Bitcoin is a scam” Now I’d wager it accelerates all the way in the other (also wrong) direction, crrrrrryyyyyypppppptoooooooooo! 🙄
Bitcoin is the center. Bitcoin is simple but hard.

Crypto scammers are everywhere, but HI will be okay.
