What about Zapstore?

QR code verification works. Background persistence works as well. And I did see my other device as peer. On both devices I tested it with.

Public messages work, private messaged as well. So I think it's ready for PlayStore.

Bitchat is software for pedophiles. True story.

Care to elaborate?

Online Geohash Channels have never worked since day one across multiple graphineos devices.

can you describe why? can't find location? network permissions?

If I knew that then I would be the dev. Does bitchat depend on google play services? I obviously granted all permissions.

no. what do you see when you open the channel selection view (tap on #mesh in the top bar)?

nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg i found this problems:

- The devices doesn't establish the connection, i have to kill the app on one device, this only happened once

- The notifications doesn't work on public room (i think is normal), but works on DM

- Background sync works... almost sometimes i lost images, texts are OK

- The message/image order are not based on message timestamp but based on arrival order

- it's not clear what green mark means (see attach), i sent that message while the second device was in sleping mode

If a try to send a DM while the other device is Offline(out of range) the message is marked with an empty dot, the message is not delivered when the device comes online again.

OK now I understand what green mark means.

Green = delivered

Blue = read

Bug, if I send 5 messages I obtain 5 green mark, when the second device read the messages just the last one is marked blue

When someone sends you a private message, and you go to the envelope to open it, when you open it, you see that the message is blank, that is, there is nothing written, as if they had not sent any message.I don't know if it's because people haven't updated to the latest version of the app and that gives these problems.

I reported the problem on Github.

This happens with the prerelease of version 1.6.0 rc3

both phones are on the latest version?

I tested it with two nearby phones. All messages work via mesh, both for the sender and the receiver.

Always testing with 2 nearby phones, in geohash this time, if I decide to send a private message or receive it from that person, the messages are all white without text and without even the time of receipt or sending.

So the problem is about sending and receiving messages privately using geohash, when from the list of people online, you choose either to send or receive the message, with blank messages and therefore no text.

I tested it with two Xiaomi phones, both with the pre-release of version 1.6.0-rc3

I noticed this when I don't have two cell phones at hand, but when I'm on geohash, there are people connected, in the sense that if a person from the geohash I'm on sends me a private message, I can't read it because it's white. Only the envelope symbol that he sent me the message appears, but no text appears. And it's certainly reversible on my part too in his messages, Where he sees my messages in white. So the problem is mutual. I thought it was an app update issue, the fact that one is using a different version than the other, but that's not the case. Then another thing is that when someone sends me a message and I open it and the white text appears, if I open and close the app, the message symbol always appears. However, there's a solution in the Github "Pull Request" section. You can check it out.

Would it be possible to add a way to Quickshare the bitchat APK on Android right in the app? This could be very useful in an "Internet down" situation.
